2005 Mt. Buller Frenzy

Many thanks to Peter Clark for last weekends run to Mt Buller.
I had a very enjoyable time with Peter, Craig and Nick and later joined by Jaime & Jaime.

The accommodation was very good for a measly $30.

Some driving was enjoyed but alas [when I left Sat arvo] no views for first timers to Buller.
Typical Buller weather of rain , fog, sun!!

Not much happening on the mountain, only Alberg open for meals and drinks, though I am
not sure if Craig could look at another bottle of vodka, however I was very impressed at his
energy on Saturday.

I was very happy with the performance of my car as this was really the first time I had stretched
its legs.

It was teaming with rain most of the way up on Friday night and the way the S4 dispatched the
road was truly impressive.

When it hits that fat wallop of 450nm torque at 35000rpm in third it just takes off all the way to
the red line....

Mt Buller's 16km was fun, but ended up wishing for more power, bigger roll bars, better shocks
and a LSD! Actually felt the brakes were fine on the way down, at least the squeaking has
stopped now.

All-in-all a fun trip, let next years roll on....
