Mt Buller Frenzy: October 2007

Another year, another Mt Buller weekend and AGM for 928Fenzy Inc. Early starters met in Ballarat for breakfast (2 Portlanders & 3 Melbourne cars) and meandered through central Victoria to meet up with everyone else in Mansfield for dinner.

This year we had more in attendance then ever, all getting together on Friday evening (Glenn & Mel joining Saturday afternoon) and departing on Sunday or Monday. Saturday was the highlight with a spirited drive to Whitfield for lunch, a visit to a couple of wineries afterwards, and a wonderful evening-in at the lodge, with stacks of food, wine and conversation. The AGM was over in record time enabling continuation of festivities (and as usual reliving old songs!). Des, Judi & Iain stayed over Sunday night and had a mini frenzy which included the Gorun Falls - a great spot between Euroa and Merton. Des's GT loved the spot so much it didn't want to leave (hole in the clutch hydraulic line meant a sedate trip back to Melbourne).

All in all, an excellent weekend - best ever! The Merrijig Ski Lodge is a great venue for this event - 20 people and still space for more (next year!). The simple pooling-in catering was a highlight.

Thanks once again to Peter Clark for organising the frenzy and everyone for making it memorable.
